Ivonne grew up in a temporary government-run DIF shelter, not a children’s home. What was intended to be a temporary solution ultimately became her entire childhood. She entered the Mentor Home with a desire to build a future filled with new opportunities. She has a growing interest in the beauty industry and is taking meaningful steps toward pursuing a career in this field.

Ivonne is a persevering and spiritual young woman with a deep faith. She enjoys reading the Bible and finds in her beliefs a steady source of strength as she faces life’s challenges and takes steps toward the future she hopes to build.
