Gloria is originally from a children’s home in Nayarit, several hours away from the Mentor Home. She is not only adjusting to a new home and community, but also navigating life in a completely new area. She arrived more reserved, but has been eager to learn, build relationships, and become more connected within the home and her new community. Recently, she received an academic scholarship through A Child’s Hope Foundation to support her upcoming studies. She has also started a customer service job, where she is gaining valuable experience and growing in confidence and responsibility.
